XO Fitness Centre was started by Coach Cindy in 2017 in Rockhampton QLD with the vision of creating a safe, encouraging space to help women of all ages and fitness ability to achieve fitness and health goals.
In March 2020 due to some Domestic violence related issues, XO fitness was relocated to Brendale in Brisbane where Kim joined Sister Cindy and XO was back in Business.
We are Mums, we are sisters and our passion is helping women be their best selves.
Meet The Team
Kim is our Functional Fitness Extraordinaire! In addition to being a mum of two gorgeous humans (not forgetting the crazy Labrador and stubborn cat), Kim is a co-owner of XO and has been sharing her passion for fitness for over 20 years. Kim was a born athlete – hitting the pool for training at the age of 6, competing in state titles from the age of 8, and an active gym goer from the age of 12.
Training small groups is where Kim excels. Kim’s seemingly boundless well of energy and enthusiasm is infectious; she has a natural-born talent and charm that makes fitness fun for all ages and ability levels.
Kim has a strong focus on technique and form, having been a physiotherapist assistant for over 6 years, and her time in gyms as a personal trainer to women and children means she knows how to have fun while working out. When Kim isn’t in the gym you will find her skateboarding along the water or tucked up in bed binging a Netflix series.
Kim is an overall superstar, but specialises in building that booty, fat loss, rehabilitation, pre and post natal fitness, injury prevention and our favourite thing… massages.

Cindy is our Gainz Guru here at XO Fitness. A mother of three and founder and co-owner of the gym, life is never quite for this adventurous woman. Cin also began her fitness journey in the pool (lets pause for a moment of thanks to their mum for all those early morning sessions) and completed her first formal fitness qualification in the 90’s making her feel older than she shows.
Physical activity and exercise have always been the thing she loves most, moving from the pool to the gym at the age of 12 she has been actively engaged in the world of fitness for over 26 years. Along her journey she entered the world of Crossfit, competing with the best of the best with some awesome accolades to her name. Over time, Cin realised that it wasn’t the elite athletes who need the most help, but everyday people, from the stay at home parent, to the high-powered CEO and those who had never stepped foot in a gym before which is why she founded XO.
When Cindy isn’t in the gym you will find her somewhere outdoors (think mountain biking, scuba diving) or finding her next mum joke to share with the members mid workout.
Cindy is a strength sensation, but specialises in technique correction, injury prevention, Olympic lifting strength and conditioning, gymnastic skills, technique correction, pre/post-partum training and injury prevention.
